Why beta-readers are so important

My novella, So We Beat On, which I actually finished in March and which has been waiting patiently to be released, is finally with my beta-readers. For my first novel, handing it over to this group was a nail-biting experience, but the advice and guidance they gave me was invaluable. So this time, it was with a happy heart that I handed it over. (Also, that as a novella, it's only 30 pages long! So won't take up too much of their already busy days.)

So We Beat On picks up six weeks after the end of the my first novel, The Day We Are Born, and is written in the voice of Libby, one of the characters from the initial book. Out soon!
