What I've just finished reading: Rose Under Fire, by Elizabeth Wein

Plot: Rose is a young pilot and poet incarcerated in a concentration camp by the Germans in WWII. Will she and the women she bonds with survive?

What I think: Another winner from Wein - she makes historical fiction come alive for both teens and adults.

Why you should read it:
Because it doesn't feel as if you are reading a work of fiction, and it's a wonderful way of learning about an atrocious period of time.

Extra bit:
I loved Elizabeth Wein's Code Name Verity too, also set during WW2 but coming in from a completely different angle.
