What I've just finished reading: Split Second, by Sophie McKenzie

Split Second, by Sophie McKenzie

Plot: As Charlie learns more about Nat, the boy whose life was also torn apart after a terrorist bomb, secrets and lies are uncovered.

What I think: Great tie-ins with issues of terrorism, social unrest, corrupt governments with a fast-paced storyline shifting between Charlie and Nat.

Why you should read it: Because it's contemporary and thrilling, and a nice shift between male and female voices.

Extra bit: Watch the trailer for Sophie's next book...
