Paper Towns
by John Green
Plot: When Margo Roth Spiegelman disappears, it's up to Q to track down the love of his life, discovering that maybe Margo isn't what she seems.
What I think: Are John Green's characters often alike - geeky guy and popular girl? Who cares? Still funny and clever and endearing and thoughtful.
Why you should read it: Because it's written by John Green. And also because it's been written by John Green.
Extra bit: I'm halfway through the plot of a Middle Grade detective story, so I loved following Margo's clues. She's too clever by far for me.
